A whole year has gone by after a kitchen fire closed the Lucky Rooster. Finally, we heard they did a soft open 12/27/24. We went tonight 12/28. It is as good as a year ago. Burgers perfect. Parm cheese fries, loved them. We are so happy they are back. A few items are temporarily missing (wraps & clubs & beer on tap) as they are slowly opening to full menu. But it was great. Welcome back Lucky Rooster!

If you are looking for a place to eat outside with a decent view and good bar style food, this is the place for you. It’s also pet friendly for the outside patio. Burger was cooked perfect and tasted good. The fries are a massive highlight, as they are delicious. It was busy and food took a minute but overall a good experience.

Unbelievable!! Ordered the Black N Blue burger and it is easily one of the best burgers I've ever tasted...anywhere!! The fries are equally as awesome!! The Lucky Rooster is just a great place to eat!! Simple menu, with simple ingredients, and done extremely well!!!! Environment was nice and clean. Service was great and the prices are very reasonable and affordable!!!!! Truly one of the new gems in the area and in Wilson County!!!!!

My wife and I love this place. Great food with a great view of the lake. Get there a little late and watch the sunset over the water. Best wings in town, and if you like it spicey get the hot Buffalo. Never disappointed. Or favorite combo is sharing 12 wings and the black & blue burger. Always get the fries.

Their burgers are better than other burger restaurants in Mt. Juliet! Perfectly cooked meat (not dry) juicy, messy and just a fabulous experience- especially when you add in their special fries! Good prices, fast service and fun location by the lake!

Everything we had was awesome. Fried pickles are battered and have a thicker breading so they don’t slide all over the place. Chili burger was perfect, the chili itself has a deep flavor that immediately noticeable but they don’t put too much on it to be messy. The tortilla strips in between the chili and the patty add a needed crunch and really takes the burger up a notch. The bbq bacon burger is also a really solid sandwich that you can’t go wrong with.
